About the Role:
Join Aire Serv of Council Bluffs as a Plumbing Apprentice and kickstart your career in the plumbing industry! We are looking for motivated individuals eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment where customer satisfaction is our top priority.
Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems.
- Learn to diagnose plumbing issues and recommend solutions under supervision.
- Participate in routine inspections and maintenance of plumbing fixtures and systems.
- Help with the installation of water heaters, pipes, and drainage systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers about plumbing services.
- Attend training sessions to enhance plumbing knowledge and skills.
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of plumbing supplies.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in plumbing is a plus.
- Strong willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced plumbers.
- Basic understanding of plumbing tools and equipment is preferred.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and lift heavy materials.
- Good communication skills and a customer-friendly attitude.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
